As it stands after tonight:
Top 4 guaranteed Champions League
5th & 6th guaranteed Europa League
7th guaranteed Conference League
I'm not sure whether Chelsea winning the Champions League and coming 5th meaning 6th & 7th Europa and 8th Conference League.
However, if we beat Everton on Sunday, then we are almost certain of some kind of European football next season.

We still want Chelsea to lose, for European safety. Ie if we and them end up out of the top 4
There are only seven European spots up for grabs and having 5 in the Champions League would mean one less elsewhere.

"Any given league is permitted a maximum of five teams to enter the Champions League in any given season."
With Arsenal going out as I type this, it guarantees the top 4 get into the Champions League even if Chelsea finish outside the top 4 and win it.

There can be 5, just not 6 English teams, so if either Chelsea or Arsenal win their tournament. 4th remains.
It is only an issue if both win.
But hopefully its academic now.

Actually pee wee you are wrong because 4th doesn't get you CL if Chelsea win it and finish 5th,only extra place if team outside top 4 wins EL...which is what happened to spurs
